S. L. HUSAIN HAMZAVI, M.D.
As founder of Hamzavi Dermatology, Syed Latafat Husain Hamzavi MD is highly regarded as one of southeast Michigan's leading dermatologists. He has served as a clinical assistant professor in dermatology at Wayne State University for more than 20 years.
Dr. Hamzavi serves as a staff member of the following hospitals: Harper, Hutzel, Detroit Receiving Hospital, William Beaumont Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, and the Port Huron and Mercy Hospitals. He is a fellow of the American Medical Association, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland Medical Society, and the British Association of Dermatology.
As a consultant dermatologist to the Regional Contact Dermatitis Unit for the west of Scotland, Dr. Hamzavi has evaluated and managed hundreds of cases of contact dermatitis due to industrial exposure, and is an international expert and published author in this revolutionary field.
ILTEFAT HAMZAVI, M.D.
Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi specializes in photo-dermatology and laser technology, and has performed thousands of laser procedures working with all ethnic skin types.
- In 1992, Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi received his Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) in Sociology from The University of Michigan.
- In 1996, Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi obtained his medical degree, from The University of Michigan Medical School with academic honors in dermatology, nephrology, cardiology and plastic surgery.
- In 2000 Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi finished his residency in dermatology at Wayne State University. He then spent some time in Europe training at some of the worlds leading skin care centers.
- In 2001 Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi completed an advanced one-year laser and photo-medicine fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He is presently the only dermatologist in Michigan with this certification.
- As the Medical Director of Rejuvenaiton Professional Skin Care Centers, the cosmetic unit of Hamzavi Dermatology, he preforms many procedures such as BOTOXï¾® injections, Chemical Peels, Sclerotherapy, Restylaneï¾® and various laser procedures.
- Dr. Ilterfat Hamzavi also serves as Senior Staff Physician at Henry Ford Health Systems Department of Dermatology.
FASAHAT HAMZAVI, M.D.
Dr. Fasahat Hamzavi was honored as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during medical school. He served as chief resident during his residency in dermatology at Wayne State University. He completed his pediatric procedural dermatology fellowship at Northwestern University Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago; one of only four in the country. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology. His clinical interests include atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne, pediatric dermatology, vascular lesions (hemangiomas, port wine stains), skin cancers (basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma), psoriasis, rosacea, moles and many other diseases of the skin, hair and nails.

Dr. Berry joined our Canton location on July 5th, 2006. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan in 1998 and then received his medical degree from The Wayne State School of Medicine with High Academic Distinction in 2002. Dr. Berry finished his post-graduate training as the Chief Resident of Dermatology at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. Dr. Berry specializes in Laser Therapy, Botoxï¾® Injections, Chemical Peels, Restylaneï¾®, Vein Treatment, Skin Surgery, Nail Surgery, as well as treatment of skin cancer, rashes, warts, moles, eczema, acne, psoriasis, and much more.
ANDREA SCHRIEBER, M.D.
Dr. Andrea Schrieber joined our Canton location in September 2010. She graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan in 2002 and Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2006. She did her residency in dermatology at Wayne State University and subsequently became board certified in dermatology. Dr. Schrieber specializes in diseases of the skin, hair, and nails for all ages. She is truly a local girl, completing kindergarten through residency in the Metro Detroit area. She currently makes her home in Livonia with her husband. Dr. Schrieber is excited to meet you at our Canton facility.
JENNIFER BROWN, P.A.-C
Jennifer Brown, P.A.-C (certified Physician Assitant) graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies where her studies included an elective clinical rotation in dermatology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saginaw State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jennifer is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is licensed through the Michigan State Board of Medical Examiners. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assitants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assitants. As a Physician Assitant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Jennifer is licensed and qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for your dermatologic needs. Prior to becoming a Physician Assitant she worked for 8 years as a Medical Assistant in the field of dermatology. Jennifer is happy to be serving the needs of our patients at our Fort Gratiot facility.
EVELYN SOMMARIVA, P.A.-C
Evelyn Sommariva, P.A.-C (certified Physician Assistant) graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Science in Physician Assitant Studies. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Michigan State University . She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Evelyn is state licensed and certified by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assitants). She is happy to be serving the needs of our patients at our Canton facility.
