Hamzavi Dermatology offers access to some of the breakthrough treatments offered for skin diseases. Many of these treatments are tested during clinical trials. In the past, studies have included treatments for sun damage, psoriasis, eczema and acne. There is no cost to patients or their insurance companies who volunteer and are selected to participate. Patients are required to have regular office visits and follow all the treatment protocols. All exams and medications are free; in addition, most studies reimburse participants for time and travel. All research programs have been approved by institutional review boards, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow safety guidelines.
